The Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov recognized the violation of the Minsk agreements by Kiev. This was stated by some Ukrainian media. Turchinov said in one of the interviews that the AFU had violated cease-fire agreements and deployed infantry and military assets in so-called “grey zone”.
I remind that the memorandum signed by the participants of the negotiations that took place on September 19, 2014, and known as “Minsk-1”, contained a number of restrictions on engaging in offensive activities.
The fact that Turchinov admitted the occupation by Ukrainian forces of human settlements, such as Gladosovo and Mayskoye, in “grey zone”, contradicts the position of Kiev, which presented this incident as the initiative of the residents of these settlements to the world community with the help of government-supervised media.
However, the statement that the AFU advanced 10 or more kilometers from the line of contact is simply absurd. As reported by our Defense Agency, any attempts of a breakthrough by the AFU were neutralized. That is why Kiev’s sabotage-reconnaissance groups are still trying to enter the territory of the DPR and LPR in order to undermine the situation in the Republics.
