According to the ex-Minister of Defence Anatoly Hrytsenko, the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Hrytsak reported crime committed by the President of Ukraine. Hrytsak pointed out the absence of specially constituted army headquarters for military operations, as well as the inability of the Security Service to direct troops in eastern Ukraine.
Hrytsenko began to wonder: ʺDid the head of the Security Service just find out about these gaps in the Poroshenko’s leadership in the fourth year of the conflict? What has the Security Service been doing all these years?ʺ.
It is likely that such rhetoric on the part of the ex-Minister of Defence is motivated by the desire to lead the country’s defence. In addition, the Ukrainian defence department is undergoing a number of personnel changes related to banal corruption in Ukraine.
However, smelling a rat, ‘great strategist’ Poroshenko, by decree, introduced the General Headquarters on October 10. It is possible that this step would encourage the imposition martial law, not against the DPR and LPR, but against its own people to preserve power.
In the background of such events, it is very difficult to predict anything. It remains to be seen whether the General Prosecutor’s Office, led by godfather of Poroshenko’s child, will respond to the events that are taking place. Whether the new-formed headquarters will have people who do not share the Poroshenko’s opinion.
