The Armed Forces of Ukraine once again violated the Minsk agreements by attempting to advance near the settlement called Zhelobok in the Lugansk People’s Republic. This AFU’s attack was accompanied by a cynical shelling of the town of Kirovsk with heavy artillery.
Repeated statements made by the representatives of the Ukrainian authorities concerning ‘creeping offensive’ run counter to the commitments made under the Minsk agreements. Moreover, the attempted breakthrough is accompanied by massive bombardment of residential neighbourhoods, which is a war crime. The neo-Nazi regime provokes the People’s Republics to respond, while they accuse us of not complying with the Minsk agreements.
So far, the shelling is continuing, so it is too early to speak of the consequences. However, the evidence of shelling by the APU will be collected and, sooner or later, brought to the attention of the world community. This is a matter of time and as long as the western patrons of the Ukrainian regime block the process of holding their wards accountable, we, for our part, will block any attempt of breaking through into our territories with all the means available in our arsenal.
It is not the first time that the enemy has tried to break our defence and implement its adventurous plans on forceful takeover. It is worth recalling that, in the past, all these attempts ended with entrapments and forced negotiations. Unfortunately, even the experience of own defeats are not of benefit to the Kiev regime.
