The Verkhovna Rada deputy, the leader of “Ukrainian volunteer army”, which had established on the basis of “Right Sector” (a forbidden organization in the DPR – Ed.), Dmitry Yarosh suggested to celebrate the conquest of Donbass on April 20, 2018.
According to him, the organization, headed by him, was created in 2014. Then, civilians were killed near Slavyansk as a result of neo-Nazi attack on one of the roadblocks. This gang, which began with murder, is under the patronage of the current authority in Ukraine. Yarosh also voiced a plan to ‘return’ Donetsk: “To breach the city, carry out a clearance operation, go around it and then go to a riverbank restaurant…”
This radical statement could indeed have arisen because of the unceasing presidential ambitions of the neo-Nazi leader. This is the opinion expressed by a political scientist Denis Denisov. But in the last presidential race, Yarosh failed and showed one of the worst results: less than one per cent of the vote. Does he really want to make the same mistake again?
Whatever the case may be, April 20 was not chosen at random. It was the same day that the ideologist of the Yarosh gang was born. I think that the direct descendants of many of the participants in this bandit group fought on the side of the Nazi leader.
Even though the Ukraine has ceased to deny the presence of neo-Nazis, justifying their small number, they are still officially armed. But there are still talking heads, who assure that there are no Nazis in Ukraine, and all examples provided are a coincidence and a distorted interpretation.
