The DPR and the LPR continue insisting on admission to high-risk facilities located on the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine for the purpose of conducting inspection works. This was told by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, the DPR plenipotentiary representative to the negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin during the “Theme” programme on the “Union” TV channel.
“Unfortunately, there was no proper reaction and attention from Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk. Those enterprises that are on our territory are provided with everything they need, their work is supervised by highly qualified specialists, and inspection work is carried out on an ongoing basis.
In turn, the situation with the Avdeyevka Coking Plant, the Konstantinovka Chemical Plant and other high-risk facilities is the opposite – during the period of combat operations, these facilities were subjected to shellings, which resulted in a number of violations in the work of the enterprises. The threat from objects located in the territory under Ukraine’s control is quite large, we are extremely worried about the situation, and we continue to insist on conducting a number of inspections and subsequent restoration works, because only in this way we will be able to protect our citizens,” Denis Pushilin stressed.
