The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, the permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the Contact group at negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin took part in “Sunday Night with Vladimir Solovyov” programme on “Russia-1” TV channel.
Denis Pushilin emphasized that the Minsk agreements can boldly be called an act of Ukraine’s capitulation.
ʺIf we analyze the Minsk agreements, it is possible to call it an act of Ukraine’s capitulation. This can be clearly seen in the law on the Special Status – it is the Ukrainian law on how Donbass must carry out Ukraine’s legislation, where economic ties with Russian, contractual relationship with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and more are prescribed. Their logic of action is clear: delaying the process to wait for support from the West. I have no illusion that if they have not implemented the agreements for two years, they are not going to do it now, but they are no longer able to withdraw from the Minsk process,ʺ the envoy said.
