The process of parties’ disengagement in the Petrovskoye village area under the Framework Agreement on disengagement of forces and means is completed successfully. The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin stated this today, on October 7, according to the correspondent of the DPR’s official website.
Also, permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the Trilateral contact group commented on the future prospects of the negotiation process on the parties’ disengagement.
“It is likely that additional places for forces’ disengagement will be agreed upon. Our offers have already been submitted to participants of the safety subgroup. It should be noted that the disengagement of forces by the end of the year would be possible if the pressure of guarantor countries on Kiev will not weaken, but will only increase,” he stressed.
Earlier the disengagement of forces and means was successfully implemented in the area of Zolotoye (LPR), the process of sides’ disengagement near the Stanitsa Luganskaya (LPR) was frustrated by the Ukrainian side. Next try of the demilitarization of this area is planned for October 9.
