Administrative burden on business during state supervision in sphere of economic activity is reduced

On April 24, according to an agenda of a plenary session, parliamentarians reviewed a draft law “On amendments to Article 2 of the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic ʺOn state supervision in the sphere of economic activityʺ developed by Deputy of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka.

The promoter of the draft law described the gist of it noting that it was aimed at reducing the administrative burden on business.

ʺAmendments, which the draft law offers, in the first place, is aimed at supporting and securing the legitimate interests of business and other economic entities in exercising control and supervisory functions by state supervisory bodies.

Thus, it is envisaged to introduce amendments concerning the definition of cases when the norms of special laws that establish other forms and procedures of state supervision in the sphere of economic activity are not subject to application.

It is worth noting that the adoption of this draft law will make it possible, among other things, to ensure the protection of the legitimate interests of subjects of entrepreneurial and other economic activities during the period of a high alert regime through the possibility of prompt action by state supervision bodies in exercising their functions,ʺ the chairman of the People’s Council said.

The parliamentarians voted for the enactment of the draft law after two readings. Further, the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic “On amendments to Article 2 of the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic ʺOn state supervision in the sphere of economic activityʺ will be sent to the Head of the DPR for his signature and will come into force on the day of its publication on the official website of the People’s Council.
