Alexander Kurenkov: Extremists feel free in Ukraine

Over five years, thanks to the connivance policy, Ukraine has turned into an incubator for white racists, DPR People’s Council MP Alexander Kurenkov stated in a comment to the Donetsk News Agency.

“The latest news coming from Ukraine suggests that extremists in this country feel extremely free. For example, they commit acts of vandalism against cultural objects and insult the historical memory of their ancestors, as was the case with the bas-relief to Marshal Zhukov in Odessa. They are not persecuted by the police or authorities, but on the contrary, the ruling elite sometimes finds the most ridiculous excuses for their actions.

Murderers walk around the country free-and-easy, while hundreds of innocent people who were not afraid to express their opinion are imprisoned for political reasons. Over five years, thanks to the connivance policy, Ukraine has turned into an incubator for white racists, aggressive young people who do not remember their roots, do not know their history. In fact, they represent a very easy-to-manage crowd, ready to march in formation, with torches in their hands, capable of not only destroying monuments and throwing Molotov cocktails. They are ready to kill people of a different nationality or who have different views, defending an idea that they are not even able to explain.

However, all this happened in Ukraine only because of the policy of those ruling in Kiev. Today, neither the president nor his entourage try to confront this terrible phenomenon. Zelensky, as a guarantor, as the commander-in-chief, must give orders and not tell jokes and arrange stand-ups on the demarcation line. Today, the new president of Ukraine is becoming Poroshenko 2.0 version more and more,” Alexander Kurenkov said.
