Children found in arduous life situation visit capital’s cinema with aid of Parliament Speaker Vladimir Bidyovka

On December 29, at the initiative of the Donetsk Republic public movement, within the framework of the Bright Childhood and Heroes projects, with the support of DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, a visit to the Donetsk cinema named after T. G. Shevchenko was organized for children of military personnel and children living in the frontline areas of the Republic.

According to the Speaker of Parliament, such events for children are held on a regular basis; moreover, in December 2018, more than 400 children participated in fun activities.

“This action is aimed at making the upcoming 2019 for our children more joyful. I strongly believe that the duty of every citizen of the Donetsk People’s Republic is to make their childhood happy, because they will determine the future of our state,” Vladimir Bidyovka stressed.

The event was attended by about 130 children of military personnel, children from the frontline areas of the DPR, orphans and children, aged 6 to 14 years old, found in arduous life situation. A viewing of the Smallfoot cartoon was set up, after which the children received sweet gifts from the Donetsk Republic public movement.
