ʺUnfortunately, tragic dates at the end of last August made it into the history of Donbass. It is extremely difficult to say something new, which has not already been said, about Joseph Davydovich. But we can say one thing for sure, he will forever remain in the history of Donbass and the history of our great Motherland. His way of living is a spectacular example of how to be a good person and how to make a difference.
Joseph Davydovich used to come here when it was dangerous, when shelling took place. He was here, provided humanitarian assistance and invaluable help to local talented children. This is the way he will be remembered for centuries.
He is our compatriot, Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Donbass will always remember Joseph Davydovich!ʺ Denis Pushilin said.
In turn, the Speaker of the Parliament Vladimir Bidyovka noted the importance of Joseph Kobzon’s cultural contribution to the development of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
ʺJoseph Davydovich Kobzon passed away a year ago – Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic, talented and great person, man of genius, son of his Motherland, who never stopped to defend the rights of the citizens of the Republic and their fundamental right is the right to live.
He always extended a helping hand to Donbass: with his songs for soldiers on the frontline, with humanitarian assistance to peaceful citizens. He is deeply rooted in our hearts not only because of his artistic works, but also because of his constant desire to be helpful to the Motherland. This is what makes him immortal for all of us,ʺ the Chairman of the People’s Council said.
