#Commentary of Alexander Kostenko on reasons for deterioration of crime situation in Ukraine
In Ukraine, an increase in the number of firearms owned by citizens of the country was noted. According to the Department of the National Police of Ukraine, at the moment there are about 900 thousand weapons on hand. An impressive figure, but we are talking only about registered units. And if you consider how many weapons were imported from abroad as a result of illegal trafficking, this figure will be twice as much as official figures.
The Kiev regime of Poroshenko encourages far-right forces and personally supplies them with weapons. One of the results of this policy of the current government was the growth of crime in Ukraine, the numerous killings of political and public figures, journalists. And since all this is not ceased, the criminal situation will only worsen, and the number of persons involved in the crimes will increase.
