#Commentary of Denis Pushilin on results of accomplished videoconference

As part of today’s videoconference, the DPR raised the issue of systematic violations of the ceasefire regime by the AFU. In their claims, the representatives of the Republic were not even based on the data of the DPR Army, which our opponents consider contentious, but on the reports of the OSCE SMM, which, according to the Package of Measures, has the function of monitoring the situation.

So, according to the monitoring mission, a significant part of violations of the “school armistice” falls precisely on the Ukrainian party. Moreover, the OSCE SMM has recorded freshly dug out firing positions on the AFU side and the use of the acting school by the Ukrainian military, which is a gross violation that jeopardises the lives of children and employees of the educational institution.

The Donetsk People’s Republic does not have the illusions about the intentions of the Ukrainian party to fully fulfil its obligations. But taking into account the importance of the “school armistice”, knowing the price of human life, we will do our best to ensure the regime of an indefinite ceasefire.
