#Commentary of Denis Pushilin on results of videoconference on provision of indefinite ceasefire

As part of today’s videoconference, the Donetsk People’s Republic has confirmed its commitment to the implementation of the “school armistice”, and also welcomed the participants’ proposals on measures to prevent the aggravation of situation on the contact line, the need to investigate and punish the perpetrators of violations of the “silence regime”.

Taking into account the fact that about 80% of all recorded attacks are made by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of Avdeyevka – Yasinovataya and Avdeyevka – the airport, we are extremely interested in investigating these cases and applying the hardest disciplinary measures against the perpetrators. Moreover, to stabilize the situation in this direction, we came out with a proposal to withdraw Ukrainian volunteer battalions from this site.

The “school armistice” can become, if not indefinite, then the longest, but for this, both sides of the conflict must make efforts.
