#Commentary of Denis Pushilin on US Senate’s approval of military assistance to Ukraine
Yesterday, Ukraine and the United States refused to discuss Russia’s proposed resolution on the introduction of the UN contingent to the Donbass; today, the Ukrainian president is pleased with the approval of the US Senate to allocate $500 million to Ukraine for defense. Can anything more eloquently speak about the intentions of the Ukrainian party?
The sabotage of the Minsk agreements’ implementation, the delay in the negotiation process, the provocative bombardment of the Republic’s territory, the rejection of Vladimir Putin’s peace initiatives, and now the allocation of funds to Ukraine for arming… It does not indicate a desire to resolve the conflict in the Donbass politically.
