#Commentary of Elena Melnick on absurdity of Ukrainian diplomacy
The President of Ukraine Poroshenko made another statement similar to a famous proverb, which had become some kind of civil position in Ukraine, – “Let my barn burn, if the neighbor’s cow dies”.
Thus, Poroshenko gloated on his Facebook page that “the price of Russian aggression against Ukraine would only grow”. This ‘creativity’ is addressed not to the internal public, but is part of the daily report on the maintenance of Russophobic policy for western curators. After all, the Ukrainians will not have more money from the fact that the United States will impose new sanctions against the Russian Federation.
Moreover, Poroshenko clarified that all this was part of the work of Ukrainian diplomats! Publishers of comic books should seriously pay attention to today’s Ukrainian leader – he can make up fictional scenarios daily.
Seriously though, due to the fact that the talentless Ukrainian diplomats who had announced, but had not coordinated a meeting of the heads of the USA and Ukraine, showed themselves as amateurs. The meeting never took place. So Petro Poroshenko has to report to a suzerain not at the negotiating table, but in social networks.
