#Commentary of Vladimir Bidyovka on suspension of cessation of relations with Russia by Ukraine

Ukraine has postponed the denunciation of agreements until the moment when it has clear instructions and this will serve as either a signal of readiness to reset normal relations with Russia or to exacerbate them. The Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka shared this opinion with the Donetsk News Agency.

ʺUkraine has stopped the cessation of relations with Russia, however, I believe it is premature to state that it is a sign to open a constructive dialogue between these countries. Kiev does not choose its political course by itself and it has long been clear. Accordingly, the decisions, including the ones to break a number of agreements, were made not in Kiev,ʺ Vladimir Bidyovka noted.

The speaker of the parliament added that this decision could cripple Ukraine’s economy.

ʺI believe that the suspension of cessation of relations is rather a sign of the uncertainty of today’s Ukrainian authorities. They postponed the denunciation of the agreements until the moment when they have clear instructions and this will serve as either a signal of readiness to reset normal relations with the Russian Federation or to exacerbate them,ʺ the chairman of the People’s Council said.
