“Dear friends! Congratulations to all of you on the holiday – the Republic’s Day! Today is an important and very significant day for all citizens of our state. Exactly five years ago, residents of the Donbass unanimously spoke in favour of freedom and independence, justice and equality in a national referendum. And now, on the Day of the Republic, I want to say a big thank you to all the citizens of our state who have kept faith in the values and ideals that are important for each of us.

Dear friends, comrades, fellow citizens! I am sure that the Donetsk People’s Republic has a great future. The future is in the family of equal nations. Happy holidays, friends! Happy Republic’s Day!” the Head of the DPR said.

Within the framework of the event, the residents and guests of the Republic were presented state awards, as well as diplomas and gratitude letters. In particular, the Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka was awarded the Diploma of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
