Course of humanitarian programme on reunification of Donbass people discussed in capital

On March 27, in Donetsk, a joint briefing was held between the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko and the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin.

During the briefing, Alexander Zakharchenko noted that the DPR authorities completed the construction of social assistance and administrative services centers in the area of checkpoints between the Republic and Ukraine within the framework of the humanitarian programme for the reunification of the Donbass people.

“Today, at all checkpoints, centres for providing information support and medical assistance for residents of territories temporarily controlled by Ukraine are fully operating,” the Head of the DPR said.

In turn, the Chairman of the People’s Council stressed that the Ukrainian authorities in response to the humanitarian programme only increased the pressure on the inhabitants of Donbass.

“We declare that the humanitarian programme is working successfully and is already provoking opposition from our opponents. When we talk about providing medical care to the residents of Donbass, which for now is controlled by Ukraine, about education in our universities, Ukraine, looking at it all, only hardens the access control. Ukraine continues to push Donbass out of its territory,” Denis Pusilin said.
