Denis Pushilin calls plan announced by Avakov for “phased reintegration” another method of “cleansing” Donbass
The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, the Permanent Representative of the DPR to the talks of the Contact Group in Minsk, Denis Pushilin commented in a conversation with RT the statement of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov that Kiev must regain control over the Donbass in stages.
“This is not the first voiced method of ‘cleansing’ the Donbass by Ukrainian politicians. One cannot consider Avakov as the author of this idea, the people of the DPR are well aware of the prospects and desires of Kiev, perceiving them without illusions. As for peacekeepers, this is a difficult question, there are many insinuations. But in fact there is a resolution – where the peacekeepers should be deployed, what the mission should be like. The place is the line of contact, the functional is the guarding activity of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission staff. Any other proposals were not submitted,” Denis Pushilin noted.
Earlier, Arsen Avakov said that he had a plan for a phased return of control over the Donbass, he called it “tactics of small steps, which everyone applauds”.
