Denis Pushilin calls plans of Russian Federation’s government on redistribution of humanitarian aid to People’s Republics expedient

The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, the permanent representative of the DPR for the talks of the Contact group in Minsk, Denis Pushilin, in an interview with RIA Novosti commented on the information that the government of the Russian Federation is considering the redistribution and streamlining of the aid provided for Donbass.

According to the Speaker of the DPR Parliament, the humanitarian needs of the Donetsk People’s Republic have changed significantly since the beginning of the armed confrontation with Ukraine and compared with the period of the first years of independence. At present, the humanitarian situation in the country has improved due to an increase in domestic production.

“Taking into account the launch of enterprises transferred to the external management of the DPR, the increase in production and turnover, the growth in the volume of industrial products sold, the humanitarian situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic today differs significantly from the state of affairs in 2014-2016. Accordingly, the humanitarian needs of the Republic are also changing, which means that it is expedient to conduct redistribution and streamline the assistance rendered to us by the Russian Federation,” Denis Pushilin noted.
