Denis Pushilin comments on results of Contact group’s negotiations via videoconference
On October 18, the permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the Contact group at negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin commented upon the negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass via videoconferencing.
According to the permanent plenipotentiary, returning of the Ukrainian army and military weaponry to the demarcation line in Donbass is unacceptable.
We have already discussed the next items, while Ukraine has not carried out the previous ones. Moreover, Kiev threatens to return the troops to the positions. This is unacceptable,” Denis Pushilin said.
He also noted that the withdrawal of forces from the demarcation line can lead to the complete cessation of hostilities.
“It has become a kind of experiment that Ukraine is dragging out. There is not much profit to gain for Ukraine. And the attack against Motorola fits in a series of events. These provocations are supposed to deflect public attention from the peace process,” Denis Pushilin summed up.
