Denis Pushilin: Council of Ministers’ activity should be absolutely transparent

On September 8, the first meeting of the new Council of Ministers of the DPR was held. The Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin commented on the outcome of the event.

ʺThe meeting was very productive. Every new minister has to appear and report on plans and objectives.

The Council of Ministers’ activity should be absolutely transparent. We hope that the situation will stabilize within a short time frame. Unfortunately, we have problems at the moment and discussed them at the meeting. Every minister will give more detailed information on them and possible mechanisms for their addressing,ʺ the Acting Head of the DPR said.

It should be reminded that the People’s Council adopted a decree on the appointment of Denis Pushilin to the post of the Acting Head of the DPR during the plenary session, which took place on September 7. Denis Pushilin made personnel changes in the Council of Ministers on the same day, the texts of corresponding decrees were published on the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Furthermore, the heads of all Republic’s ministries have been appointed as acting heads until the new Council of Ministers is established after the elections of the Head of the DPR that will take place on November 11, 2018.
