Denis Pushilin: Militaristic actions of Ukraine can entail serious escalation of conflict
The possible use of the American anti-tank missile systems Javelin runs counter to the implementation of the Minsk agreements and can lead to a serious escalation of the conflict, the Permanent Representative of the DPR at the talks of the Contact Group in Minsk, the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, Denis Pushilin, told Interfax.
“Any attempts to put in arsenal, train personnel, and even more so the use of American anti-tank missile systems Javelin go against the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
Taking into account the situation inside Ukraine itself, such militaristic actions can entail a serious escalation of the conflict,” Denis Pushilin said.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Victor Muzhenko, said that he gave an order to develop measures in preparation for the adoption of the American ATGM Javelin.
