Denis Pushilin presents DPR awards to relatives of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug volunteers who died in Donbass

On December 26, as a part of the working visit of a parliamentary delegation from the DPR to Khanty-Mansiysk, relatives of the deceased volunteers of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, who were killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic, were awarded tributes of the DPR.

Denis Pushilin, the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, took part in the presentation ceremony.

“After the Russians saw that after the coup d’état in Kiev all the weapons available to Ukraine, including aviation and heavy artillery, were used against the civilian population of the Donbass, not everyone could just look at it from the side. Those who had the opportunity came personally and with their participation made every effort to remedy this situation.

We watched the same films about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, who at the cost of their lives performed feats. Today’s events have allowed us to see such heroes among us. Unfortunately, not all of them stayed alive. Today we want to note such people and give awards,” Denis Pushilin said.

Also in the course of the event, the DPR People’s Council’s Letters of Acknowledgement were awarded to Russian public figures for their active cooperation, the formation of public relations, and the help and support of the Donbass people.
