Denis Pushilin’s statement on invasion of gray zones by Ukrainian armed forces
The Ukrainian enforcers continue to occupy settlements and territories located within so-called “grey zone”. This fact was noted by the OSCE SMM, which indicated a reduction in the distance between the positions of the parties to the conflict. The above-mentioned actions are a flagrant violation of the Minsk agreements and ceasefire agreements, which prohibit the parties from making any progress.
Of particular concern is the fact that the invasion of the buffer zone is carried out by Ukraine purposefully, planned and defiantly. I remind that such localities as Shirokino, Vinogradnoye, Pavlopol, Pishchevik, Gnutovo, Novoluganskoye, Avdeyevka industrial zone, Travnevoye and Gladosovo were occupied by the Ukrainian enforcers.
It should be noted that the issue of the separation of forces and means is being actively discussed in Minsk, the aim of which is to increase the distance between the parties to the conflict.
it is commonly known that there has been no progress due to a fault of the Ukrainian side for almost a year and a half at one of the sites of separation of forces and means – in Stanitsa Luganskaya.
The DPR fulfils its obligations. Thus, the corresponding orders were given to units and published, there is no advance and proceedings on the facts of violations are regularly held.
The actions of Ukraine directly contradict the content of the Minsk agreements and lead to further escalation of the conflict. Thus, a new flashpoint area has emerged as a result of Ukrainian armed forces’ positioning near the Donetsk filtration station on the line of contact.
Ukraine purposefully complicates by its actions an already burdensome negotiation process and contributes to the increase in violations.
