Denis Pushilin: Ukraine grandstands demanding to annul Putin’s decree on recognition of DPR and LPR’s documents (video)

The decrees, orders and laws of the Russian Federation are not the subject of discussion in Minsk. It was stated by the Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin in “Interview about main issues” programme on “Oplot TV” channel.

The plenipotentiary representative in the Contact Group commented on the Ukrainian side’s requests to Russia to annul the decree of Vladimir Putin concerning the recognition of documents issued in the People’s Republics.

ʺPerhaps, the Ukrainian delegation is tasked to raise the issue and raise it more in the press. Sometimes, they forget to voice it in the Contact Group and in the subgroups, but they talk about it with the press… This is where Ukraine grandstands, nothing more.

And if you provide certain insights on the subject matter, it turns out that the decree is a humanitarian gesture, one can say a humanitarian action on the part of the President of the Russian Federation. And it is of a temporary nature and it does not violate anything. Follow the Minsk agreements, as Vladimir Putin proposes to the Ukrainian side, and we will then consider the possibility of rescinding the decree. But since the Ukrainian side has not complied with any of the clauses of the Minsk agreements, there is no reason to revise the decree,ʺ Denis Pushlin said.
