Denis Pushilin unveils events of Russian Center for Miner’s Day and City Day (video)
Russian stage stars are inspired by the warm reception of the Donetsk audience. This was stated in the interview to the First Republican Channel by Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, head of the Russian Center Denis Pushilin.
“Previously, celebrities were afraid to visit the DPR, as they had the idea that here the war is not only on the contact line, that armed people walk around everywhere, everywhere there is destruction – this was the stereotype. After celebrities began to come here, they shared their impressions with their colleagues about the audience that met them here. Many of them admit that they have not seen such a spectator for a long time, and now they insist that they come the second and third time,” Denis Pushilin said.
He also talked about the events that the Russian Center chalked out for the Miner’s Day and the Day of the City of Donetsk.
“We plan to hold a dance battle on August 24 with the participation of Russian representatives of this direction. There will be a battle of DJs advertised at the beginning of the year, an event that will give an opportunity to check the level of mastery of both guests from Russia and our local ones. Beatboxers, athletes in the work out disciplines will perform. And on the 26th the Russian Center cannot help but bring some of the stars of the Russian stage. Who exactly – let it remain a surprise so far, I assure, a pleasant one,” Denis Pushilin said.
We recall, the Russian Center was founded in December 2017 with the goal of strengthening the integration of the DPR with the Russian Federation. The Head of the Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, set before the Russian Center the task of bringing integration processes with the regions of the Russian Federation to a new, higher and more qualitative level. One of the forms of work of the Russian Center is the organization of concerts of Russian pop stars in the Donetsk People’s Republic with the aim of providing psychological support to citizens. The head of the Center is Denis Pushilin.
