DPR celebrates State Flag Day in Republic’s capital
On October 25, the central square of the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic hosted a festive occasion dedicated to State Flag Day, in which the DPR Head, Denis Pushilin, the People’s Council Chairman, Vladimir Bidyovka, People’s Council deputies, representatives of ministries and departments took part.
Head of the Republic Denis Pushilin addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
“Dear friends! I sincerely congratulate everyone on State Flag Day of the Donetsk People’s Republic! The state symbols – coat of arms, flag, and anthem – are very important and necessary. Any state is untenable without them. I am glad that we have them, I am glad that the Donetsk People’s Republic has been out there for six years. It lives despite the aspirations of our enemies, contrary to the wishes of our opponents, who dream that we simply would not be there. Here we are with you and we will continue to develop!
It is very important to convey to the future generations a sense of respect for our state symbols.
Once again, congratulations on the holiday! I’d like to wish you confidence in the future and for the Donetsk People’s Republic to only move forward!” Denis Pushilin noted.
Speaker of the Parliament Vladimir Bidyovka joined the congratulations.
“Dear fellow countrymen, happy holiday to you! Happy DPR Flag Day!
Not only is our flag a symbol of courage and resilience of Republican citizens – it is pride. Pride for those who defend the Homeland on the frontline, who work in production, save lives, raise children.
Our state has chosen the course towards integration with Russia, and our tricolour and Russia’s tricolour are symbols of the fact that we want to restore historical justice most of all. I am convinced that the time will come when the DPR flag will become our banner of victory. Happy holiday! I wish you peace, good and victory to all of us!” Vladimir Bidyovka said.
