DPR delegation attends inauguration ceremony of LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik

On November 21 in Lugansk, there took place the inauguration of the Head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, who was elected on the basis of the results of voting on November 11. DPR Head Denis Pushilin, Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka and deputy of the DPR People’s Council, head of the Donetsk Republic parliamentary faction Valery Skorokhodov took part in the event as honoured guests.

Guests from the ally countries of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics – President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Bganba, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Kozenko, Kazbek Taisayev and others also attended the celebrations.

Leonid Pasechnik took the oath of allegiance to the people of the LPR and outlined the main task of the Head of the Republic – the protection of the rights of citizens.

“Today I can confidently say that the years of uncertainty in the Donbass have passed. Together we have chosen the direction of development of the Republic and our strategic partners, who will help us to go along the planned path. Together we voted for a single development vector aimed at integration with the Russian Federation,” the LPR Head said.

The DPR Head, Denis Pushilin, wished the LPR Head, Leonid Pasechnik, the achievement of his goals.

“The number of votes that the residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic gave in support of Leonid Pasechnik indicates that they believe in changes for the better. I would like to wish, of course, perseverance, patience, dedication and be sure to achieve the goals,” Denis Pushilin said.
