Accusing Russia of setting up Maidan and other Ukrainian troubles, Gordon is telling a monstrous lie. This was stated in a commentary to the official website of the DPR by the People’s Council MP, Vladislav Rusanov.

People’s Council MP Vladimir Medvedev commented for the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic the statement of the Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, who called Donbass an undeveloped region with a hostile population.

On November 1, the Republic's capital hosted a futsal tournament dedicated to Remembrance Day of the DPR internal affairs bodies' employees who died in the line of duty (military service duties). DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, Donetsk Republic's parliamentary leader Valery Skorokhodov, MP Yury Sivokonenko, as well as representatives of relevant ministries and departments, attended the event.
