Head of DPR participates in meeting of parliamentary faction “Donetsk Republic”

On April 4, a meeting of the People’s Council’s faction “Donetsk Republic” was held in the session hall of the Government House, in which the Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko participated. The Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Denis Pushilin attended the meeting as well.

The main topic of the discussion was the work of “Donetsk Republic” faction deputies in districts

ʺFrom January 1 to March 31, 2017, 221 citizens were admitted. The number of people applying to the deputies was 1,001. Among the questions addressed to the deputies were the most frequent issues relating to receiving of financial assistance and social benefits. Citizens also address questions regarding housing, legal and humanitarian issues with regard to the reconstruction of destroyed housing and health care,ʺ the Leader of the faction Alexander Kostenko reported.

According to the Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, the deputies’ work in districts is to provide people with reliable and interesting to them information.

ʺThe work of deputies is very important to people. You should explain to people questions they are interested in,ʺ the Head of the Republic said.

Also, parliamentarians debriefed an account on the work done to collect signatures in support of the joint appeal of the Chairmen of the DPR and LPR People’s Councils, Denis Pushilin and Vladimir Dehtyarenko, to world leaders.

ʺ337 875 are collected in support of the joint appeal of the Chairmen of the DPR and LPR People’s Councils to the leaders of the Russian Federation, the United States and Germany,ʺ Alexander Kostenko said.
