On May 18, according to the agenda of the plenary meeting, deputies considered draft decrees on awarding of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic with a Badge and Certificate of Honour. The meeting was attended by 82 deputies from the “Donetsk Republic” and “Free Donbass” parties.
A presentation was made by a member of the DPR People’s Council Herman Kadyrov, who presented the nominations for the awards.
ʺIn accordance with article 63 of the Regulations of the DPR People’s Council, Andrey Voroshilov, Herman Kadyrov, Alexander Kozlov, Constantine Kuzmin, Alexander Malkov, Natalia Pshenichnaya, Miroslav Rudenko, Yuri Sivokonenko, Oleg Stepanov, Alexander Hryakov, Valery Skorokhodov, Oleg Glebov, Eduard Yakubovskiy and Denis Pushilin are awarded with the Badges of Honour of the DPR People’s Council for the special contribution to the development of legislation and parliamentarianism, the protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, the consolidation of democracy and constitutional order, for the active socio-political activity and the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties.
Sergey Dianov, Ivan Novakovskiy, Yuri Nikonorov, Irina Poltoratskaya and Sergey Novakovskiy are awarded with the Certificates of Honour of the DPR People’s Council for the significant contribution to the development of legislation and parliamentarianism in the DPR, the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Republic, the strengthening of democracy and constitutional order, the active social and political activities and the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties,ʺ Herman Kadyrov said.
According to a parliamentarian, all nominees for the awards were very active in creating the legal foundations of the state – the constitution of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Following the adoption of the decrees, the award ceremony was held: the Chairman of the People’s Council Denis Pushilin and the Vice-Chairman of the People’s Council Olga Makeeva were awarded with the Badges and Certificates of Honour in a solemn setting.
