If Poroshenko wanted to recognize Special Status of DPR, Rada wouldn’t have prevented – Denis Pushilin

Dissent of Verkhovna Rada from the law on the Special Status of Donbass – it’s just an excuse of Petro Poroshenko who doesn’t want to recognize the DPR, said in an interview with “Life” the plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the trilateral contact group at negotiations in Minsk Denis Pushilin.

“When it was necessary to take unpopular decisions, even in violation of the rules, I am referring to the appointment of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and others, Poroshenko managed to find leverage for faction leaders who, in turn, forced deputies to vote the right way. And here is the question, where there are the liabilities, there is a resolution of the UN Security Council, and uncontrollability of the Verkhovna Rada becomes a hindrance. Sounds like a dubious excuse,” Denis Pushilin said.

Earlier the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during a meeting with the Head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Sochi has declared that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko inclines to search of a compromise for the termination of the conflict in the east of Ukraine. Poroshenko, according to Nazarbayev, has told that the Ukrainian parliament interferes with adoption of the legislation on the status of east regions of the country.
