Natalia Volkova: Fate of its ideological inspirers from OUN awaits Kiev regime
The decision of the Ukrainian parliament at the state level to celebrate the birthday of the leader of the extremist Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) Stepan Bandera will lead the Kiev authorities to an inglorious finale. This opinion was shared with DAN by the deputy of the DPR People’s Council, the chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture, Natalia Volkova.
“The Ukrainian deputies, calling Bandera “an outstanding leader and theorist of the Ukrainian national liberation movement,” turned a blind eye to the crimes of their bundle of joy and his followers, which they committed during the Great Patriotic War. These horrors are documented in the form of irrefutable facts and evidence,” the deputy noted. “By choosing a role model in the form of Bandera, Shukhevych and other war criminals alike, the Kiev regime is preparing for itself the same inglorious end that its idols found.”
She added that such decisions of the Ukrainian authorities have long been not surprising, since from the first days of its coming to power, the Kiev regime chose accomplices of Nazi Germany as their ideological inspirers.
We shall add that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine published a decree on the celebration of memorable dates and anniversaries in 2019. According to the document, Stepan Bandera’s birthday will officially be celebrated on January 1.
