#Official Commentary of Vladimir Bidyovka on establishment of United States special committee on Ukrainian corruption

The prolonged pause in the announcement of the American position on Ukraine ends. The new White House administration had reviewed the situation in that country and made an unexpected for the Kiev authorities decision.

According to PRnewschannel, ʺthe Ukrainian oligarchs have divided up regions and industries, hired mercenaries to run private ‘battalions’ and now resemble Somalian warlords rather than defenders of democratic principles  Thus, the United States begins to call the ongoing processes, which have long been known to the inhabitants of Donbass, in Ukraine by their proper names.

It is clear that information is adequately assessed and, moreover, the appropriate conclusions have been already drawn. Of course, there are still tidbits for the overseas ‘partners’ in Ukraine, but in the future, the Americans plan to receive dividends not by means of agreements, but by means of blackmail.

Therefore, in the set agenda of the White House on Ukraine, instead of ‘carrot’ or, more specifically, ‘cookies’, a stick will now be used, as the U.S. Congress will establish a special committee to investigate corruption in the Ukrainian authorities. Prior to the commencement of its work, the names of a number of individuals (Igor Kononenko, Valeria Gontareva and others) have already been published with serious claims.

These measures, by design of congressmen, should not prevent the dissolution of Ukraine as a state (but let’s leave these dreams to American politicians). And where Kiev corrupt officials will run after high-profile exposure is anybody’s guess. In any case, there is no longer an American happy-end for them.
