Parliamentarians congratulate cultural workers on professional holiday
On March 25, in the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A. B. Solovyanenko, a solemn event was held dedicated to the Day of the DPR Worker of Culture. The event was attended by DPR Head Denis Pushilin, People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka, deputies of the People’s Council, representatives of ministries and departments.
DPR Head Denis Pushilin thanked those present for their significant contribution to the development of culture.
“I’m eager to congratulate you on the Day of Culture Worker! You are really doing an important and necessary job. On behalf of all residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic, thank you very much for continuing to perform the feat! In the most difficult periods, even under attacks, you held events, performances, concerts, and it inspired us. You went and continue to go for the victory with no less effort than the guys who stand on the front lines.
Culture is necessary to think not only about economics and war, but also about the eternal. On this festive day, I want to wish you good luck and inspiration. Happy holiday!” notes the Head of the Republic.
In turn, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Bidyovka emphasised that cultural workers successfully cope with their tasks.
“You are doing a great job in terms of popularizing culture not only in the Republic, but also abroad, glorifying the Donetsk land all over the world. With your work, striving for beauty, you have proved that even in the most difficult times there is always a place of kindness, creativity and love.
I sincerely wish you success in your professional activities, health and well-being. Do not stop at what has been accomplished, continue to improve, making the world better every minute!” Vladimir Bidyovka said.
At the end of the official part, the performance “The Mystery of the Phantom of the Opera” was shown to those present.
We recall, the Day of the DPR Worker of Culture is celebrated on March 25, the holiday was established by decree of the first Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko dated March 11, 2015.
