Russian Center and Public Chamber of KhMAD sign Socio-Cultural Cooperation Agreement
On December 26, as a part of the working visit of a parliamentary delegation from the DPR to Khanty-Mansiysk, an agreement on social and cultural cooperation between the Russian Center and the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra was signed.
According to Irina Maximova, the chairman of the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, much unites residents of the Donbass and KhMAD, and this agreement is a continuation of the mutual support and will help to establish closer relations between people.
The head of the delegation of parliamentarians from the DPR, Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, the head of the Russian Center Denis Pushilin noted the importance of the signed agreements for DPR residents and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
“Proceeding from the desire to establish and develop friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as strengthen social and cultural cooperation between them, expressing confidence that cultural ties are an integral part of the process of mutual understanding and friendship between peoples, showing readiness on the basis of the principles of equality and mutual benefit, to encourage and support the exchange and cooperation between organizations and citizens in the spheres of culture, art, education, social sciences, prints and publishing, broadcasting, television, cinematography, sports, tourism, healthcare and other areas, welcoming the development of forms of people’s democracy and parliamentary cooperation, the Russian Center and the Public Chamber of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra signed an agreement on socio-cultural cooperation,” Denis Pushilin read out the text of the agreement.
Also, the Speaker of the DPR Parliament stressed that the work of the Russian Center is a reflection of the desire of the Donbass people to preserve the common cultural space with Russia.
“Integration of the Donbas with Russia is extremely important for us. What we signed today is a natural continuation of the aspirations of our citizens,” Denis Pushilin added.
In the course of the event, at which the parties discussed the forms of cooperation, the awarding of tributes to the relatives of the deceased volunteers was held.
