Social and Cultural Cooperation Agreement between Public Chamber of Ryazan Region and Russian Center signed in Donetsk
On August 10, a meeting of the Russian Center representatives and the delegation from the Ryazan Region was held in the Government House.
The event was attended by Chairman of the DPR People’s Council, head of the Russian Center Denis Pushilin, Deputy Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Olga Makeyeva, Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region Natalia Grishina, First Deputy Director of the Maxim Gorky Regional Universal Scientific Library Alexander Prosin, ataman of the regional branch of the Warrior Cossack Union of Russia and abroad in the Ryazan region, Honoured Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, member of the Union of Writers of Russia, poet, novelist, playwright, songwriter, winner of the Central Federal District Prize in literature and art, winner of S.A. Esenin “My Rus'” award Andrey Kryuchkov.
In an interview to the press service of the People’s Council Denis Pushilin noted that the activities of the Russian Center, aimed at strengthening the integration of the DPR with the Russian Federation, are conducted by order of the Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko.
“Today, we are taking another important and necessary step that will consolidate the working and friendly ties between the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region and the Russian Center, established in April 2018,” the Speaker of the Parliament said.
He added that since the beginning of the Russian Center’s cooperation with the representatives of this region, about 200 people as part of delegations from the Donetsk People’s Republic visited more than 40 events in the territory of the Ryazan region. In turn, delegates from the Ryazan region, only about 50 people, visited a number of events on the territory of the Republic.
“To date, fruitful cooperation has been established in such spheres as education, health, sports, culture, and trade union activities. Also, active work is carried out in the social sphere.
So, thanks to the established cooperation, two groups of 30 DPR children each passed a course of sanatorium-and-spa treatment in Ryazan children’s sanatorium named in memory of V.I. Lenin. Medical specialists from Ryazan visited the Republic to consult and select our children for treatment in the Russian Federation. Based on the results of their visit, we send three children with a diagnosis of “delayed mental and speech development against the background of perinatal affection of the central nervous system” for recovery in the Ryazan home of the child.
Within the framework of the experience exchange programme, specialists from the Ryazan region and the Donetsk People’s Republic participated in a number of videoconferences. In preparation for the international action “Immortal Regiment” in May this year, a videoconference was held with representatives of public and patriotic organizations of the Ryazan region and the Krasnodar Territory. Besides, workers of children’s libraries of the DPR together with Ryazan colleagues conducted a seminar on the topic “The role of libraries in the patriotic education of children.” Also an online lecture “State bodies of financial activity and control in Russia” for students of Donetsk National University was held,” Denis Pushilin said.
According to him, delegates from the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Ryazan region, who took part in joint events, often took prizes.
“People’s ensemble “Souvenir” from the DPR, who participated in the dance hall “Circle Dance Named “Birch”,” as well as in the XXVI All-Russian Children’s Dance Festival “Black Kitten – 2018,” received a diploma of the Ryazan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center of Folk Art for its contribution to the aesthetic education of the younger generation. And athletes from the Ryazan region showcased themselves in the open personal-team championship of the Donetsk People’s Republic in weightlifting and on the results of the competitions were awarded goblets.
Currently, from 6 to 18 August, a delegation of young athletes from the DPR is participating in training and sports activities in the Ryazan region.
The cultural ties between our parties continue to expand. In particular, the State Museum-Reserve named after S. Yesenin donated poet’s manuscripts, books and portraits (more than 80 exhibits) to the Donetsk Republican Art Museum for demonstration in the exposition “On the ground, close to me and so beloved…” the head of the Russian Center informed.
Following the meeting, Denis Pushilin and Natalia Grishina signed the Agreement between the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region and the Russian Center on Social and Cultural Cooperation.

Main points of the Social and Cultural Cooperation Agreement
between the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region and the Russian Center
Direction – culture and art.
The parties shall facilitate:
- the conduct of creative festivals, the organization of tours of professional and amateur artists and art groups;
- the preservation and restoration of cultural and artistic heritage, including the restoration of historical, cultural and religious monuments located on the territories of the parties.
Direction – education and science.
The parties promote exchange and cooperation in the field of education:
- by sending scientists, teachers and specialists for the exchange of experience, conducting research and implementing teaching activities;
- by studying the possibility of signing an agreement on the equivalence of education certificates, academic degrees and titles issued and appropriated by the relevant institutions of the parties.
Direction – sport and tourism.
The parties facilitate the exchange and cooperation between the sports organizations of the two parties by holding friendly competitions and meetings of sports teams, exchanging coaches and sports specialists, organizing training camps.
Direction – health.
The parties encourage and support the establishment and development of direct contacts between specialists and health organizations; promote their professional level by exchanging delegations.
Direction – youth policy.
The parties promote the cooperation of youth and children’s organizations by carrying out activities in the field of military-patriotic upbringing, the spiritual and moral development of children and youth, including the organization of youth forums and conferences.
Direction – trade union organizations activity.
The parties facilitate the establishment of direct contacts and the development of cooperation between trade union organizations in the sphere of the protection of workers’ rights.
