Statement by Chairman of People’s Council on reformatting deputies’ receptions due to high alert regime operation

To implement the Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 70 “On Amending the Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic of March 14, 2020 No. 57 “On Imposing A High Alert Regime”,” People’s Council deputies have temporarily suspended the reception of citizens in the districts.

This measure is aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus infection, since human life and health have always been, are and will be the main priority in the implementation of the state policy of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

However, the suspension of personal receptions of citizens by deputies of the People’s Council does not solve other problematic issues faced by residents. Given the current situation, I especially want to emphasize that no circumstances should be an obstacle to the direct dialogue of parliamentarians and citizens who entrusted them with the representation of their interests at the state level.

Taking into account the requirements of the Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 70 “On Amending the Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic of March 14, 2020 No. 57 “On Imposing A High Alert Regime”,” the People’s Council decided to reformat the work with citizens. Starting today, the People’s Council launched online reception, within which residents of the Republic can send an online appeal through a special form. A link to it is available on the main page of the official website of the parliament – “Online Reception of the People’s Council.” I remind you that consideration of all appeals will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic “On Appeals of Citizens,” given the current situation.
