Valery Skorokhodov: While Kiev derails negotiation process in Minsk, DPR grows stronger and continues integration with Russian Federation

Due to the contradictory statements of the aide to the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak, indicating that the Ukrainian party has blocked the negotiation process, the DPR bets on strengthening economic ties with Russia, expanding production, and synchronizing legislation. DPR People’s Council MP Valery Skorokhodov talked about it in an interview with the Donetsk News Agency.

“The special status of Donbass is the basis for the conflict settlement; this is what is spelled out both in the Set of Measures and in the Steinmeier formula. While Yermak and Zelensky continue to fool the West and the USA, reporting their disagreement with the Minsk agreements and at the same time commitment to a peaceful settlement, Donbass will grow stronger as an independent self-contained state,” Valery Skorokhodov said.

We shall recall that earlier Yermak, in an interview with the Left Bank publication, stated that the special order of local self-government in Donbass was not the subject of negotiations for a peaceful settlement on the Minsk site and in the “Normandy format”.
