Vladimir Bidyovka: All spheres of our state’s life will be able to develop normally under actively working economy (video)
DPR People’s Council Chairman Vladimir Bidyovka took part in the Ministry programme on the First Republican TV Channel. As part of the broadcast, the Parliament Speaker summed up the first spring session of the People’s Council of the II convocation and spoke about inter-parliamentary cooperation with colleagues from the Republic of Crimea of the Russian Federation.
“If we talk about the priorities in the Parliament’s work of the new convocation in the spring session, it should be noted that the focus was placed on the economy; but, of course, we did not forget the social sphere, science, medicine, culture and so on. We have repeatedly stressed earlier that all the mentioned spheres of our society’s life will be able to develop normally under the condition of an actively working economy. As a result, we focused on tax legislation, the economy, etc.
If we talk about cooperation with the other states’ parliaments, then, of course, the experience gained by our colleagues from different countries is crucial for us. I would especially like to dwell on the fact that we signed an agreement on inter-parliamentary cooperation with the Crimea. Their experience is invaluable for us, as we also follow the path of transition from the Ukrainian to the Russian legislation. We value the experience of the transition period, which the Crimean colleagues had. We are in the closest contacts with them,” the Speaker of Parliament said.
