Vladimir Bidyovka: Citizens of Donbass continue suffering from blockade policy of Kiev
Gruesome news marred this day: a civilian car was blown up near the “Yelenovka” border crossing station, two people were killed, another one was injured and medics are fighting for his life.
The inhabitants of Snezhnoye, who were coming back from the territory of Ukraine and where they had gone to get their pensions, were in the car that was blown up. The peaceful citizens of Donbass once again become victims of the criminal Kiev regime, which continues to terrorize the most unprotected sections of population despite all norms of morality and violate agreements. Among them are pensioners, disabled people, people who are in dire need of help.
The Kiev authorities do not even conceal that they use these people as an element of bargaining, seeking certain concessions from the People’s Republic. Having entered into commitments to pay social benefits to the residents of Donbass four years ago, Ukraine never started to implement its part of the agreements relying on the fact that the nonfulfillment of obligations to the people, who spent their lives contributing to the economy of Ukraine, would lead to a reduction in the living standards of the citizens of the Republic.
I extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved one of the victims. I wish the injured citizens of the Republic a speedy recovery and strength.
Vladimir Bidyovka, the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council
