Vladimir Bidyovka congratulates Emergency Ministry’s employees on 5th anniversary of Ministry’s founding

On September 26, an event was held in the capital of the Republic dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Management of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The celebrations were attended by Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, representatives of ministries and departments, international delegations of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of South Ossetia and the LPR.

During the speech, the Speaker of Parliament noted the prestige and complexity of the work of the Ministry and thanked the staff for their dedicated work for the benefit of the inhabitants.

“Saving human lives is a very dangerous, complex, but noble job. You bring good to people, helping at the most critical moments. Each employee of the Ministry, be it the dispatcher who promptly answers the call, or the driver, who quickly delivers the brigade to the site, or the rescuer who prevents the disaster, as well as many other specialists, form a single team that can accomplish the impossible at the most critical moments.

This is what does credit and reflects glory of your work. What you are doing now, in harsh wartime, many times increases the value and merit of your daily exploits.

It is an honour for me to congratulate you on the first anniversary of the Ministry of Emergencies on this day. May the combat alert sound for you as seldom as possible,” Vladimir Bidyovka said.

During the event, the best employees were awarded state, government and departmental awards.

We shall recall that on Wednesday, September 25, in the Sovetsky district of Makeyevka, a new fire department of 18th fire and salvage unit of the state fire and rescue squad was opened. The celebration was attended by the deputies of the DPR People’s Council, Valery Skorokhodov and Vladimir Chekun, the Head of the Ministry of Emergencies of South Ossetia, Azamat Chochiyev, and service veterans.
