Vladimir Bidyovka congratulates workers of land management, geodesy, and cartography on their professional holiday

On March 5, the Palace of Culture named after V.V. Kuybyshev hosted a solemn event to mark Day of the Land Surveyor, Geodesist and Cartographer. Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, representatives of relevant departments, professors and students of Donetsk National Technical University attended the event.

Addressing the event participants, Vladimir Bidyovka thanked the workers of spheres of land management, geodesy and cartography for a responsible approach to work and high professionalism.

“On Land Surveyor, Geodesist and Cartographer Day and on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the land management service of the Donetsk People’s Republic, we celebrate in your honour for your significant contribution to the development of our state. People of many professions, ranging from school teachers, engineers, environmentalists and to military personnel defending the borders of the Republic utilize the results of your work. Surveying and cartography are tough sciences that require extreme accuracy in research, which impacts not only land management and development of the construction industry, but also the well-being of nature conservation areas as a whole.

The republican land surveyors, geodesists and cartographers arguably are experts in their field, possessing a high level of competence and responsibility, which allows for quick and efficient solving of all the tasks.

May success accompany you in your professional activity, work bring you a sense of fulfilment and all your plans be realized. I wish you health, well-being, prosperity and peace!” the Speaker of Parliament said.

During the solemn part of the event, Vladimir Bidyovka handed a congratulatory address to the Chairman of the State Committee for Land Resources of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Natalia Sigotova.
