“First of all, let me congratulate you on the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Donbass from the Nazi invaders. The right to life, the right to freedom was won in fierce battles by our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Concern for human destinies, the struggle for freedom and equality have always been inherent in the people of Donbass. So it was during the years of Great Patriotic War, so was also in those years when you and your comrades-in-arms repaid their international duty in Afghanistan, being one of the first to fight international terrorism. Thank you very much for giving a fitting rebuff to this threat.

The war is a cruel thing, but it showed who is who, and today, soldiers-internationalist have already stood up to defend the Donetsk People’s Republic, their native Donbass, their native land. You are the people our young generation has to look up to. Your names and your feat are already inscribed with golden letters in the history of our country. Thank you!” Vladimir Bidyovka said.

At the end of the official part, flowers were laid at the monument to “To Your Liberators, Donbass!”.
