Vladimir Bidyovka participates in event dedicated to International Day of Disabled Persons

On December 3, a solemn ceremony dedicated to International Day of Disabled Persons was held in a hotel and entertainment centre “Shakhtar Plaza” within the framework of a project entitled “Republic for Everyone” organized by a public movement “Donetsk Republic” together with the Donetsk organization of persons with disabilities “New Life”.

The official part of the event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, Deputies of the People’s Council Yaroslav Lisobey and Yulia Mikhailova, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Larisa Tolstykina, representatives of public organizations.

Addressing those present at the event, Vladimir Bidyovka clarified that the parliament improved a legislative framework and adopted laws aimed at promoting socialization and legal protection of people with disabilities.

ʺDear friend, I am sincerely impressed by your courage, perseverance and industriousness you show every day. You move towards a desired objective no matter what, proving to the world that there are no unattainable goals. You are a symbol that the Donetsk People’s Republic cannot be broken. You do this thanks to everyday feats, sporting achievements and your active participation in the life of our society. Thank you for doing this!

The People’s Council also tries to cooperate: a Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic “On adaptive physical culture and sports” was adopted in August. We hope this will help you reach your full potential,ʺ the parliamentarian speaker said.

During the event, the best representatives of relevant organizations and associations were awarded honorary certificates. The staff members of the Donetsk organization of persons with disabilities “New Life” were awarded a certificate of acknowledgement of the chairman of the People’s Council.
