Vladimir Bidyovka participates in extended meeting of People’s Council Committee on Budget, Finance and Economic Policy

On September 16, an extended meeting of the People’s Council Committee on Budget, Finance and Economic Policy with the Committee on Agriculture and Land Resources on improving tax legislation concerning issues of personal peasant farming, namely, amendments to the laws of the DPR “On tax system” and “On peasant agriculture” was held.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka, representatives of the Ministry of Revenue and Duties, Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, State Committee on Land Resources.

The Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka summarized the meeting in an interview with the press.

ʺI would like to say that this issue is very important, despite the fact that we are now talking not about farmers and agrarians in general, but about those people, who are engaged in personal farming. This issue was brought up in 2015-2016, but it was never addressed because we could not reach a consensus with the Ministry of Revenue and Duties back then.

Today, experts have discussed everything and come to possible solutions to this problem. As a result, it was instructed that the committees prepare a final version of the draft law, which will be considered for adoption in the parliament,ʺ the speaker of the parliament said.

The Chairman of the People’s Council Committee on Budget, Finance and Economic Policy Marina Zheynova reported on the substance of amendments, which were made to a law on tax system in a commentary to the press service of the People’s Council.

ʺThe size of the land used for maintaining personal peasant farm, specified in the DPR’s law “On tax system”, which is 1.0 hectares, is adjusted in accordance with the size enshrined in the DPR’s law “On personal peasant agriculture”, which is 2,0 hectares.

The adoption of the draft law will help to improve the legislation of the Donetsk People’s Republic, which regulate the legal mechanism for disposing of surplus agricultural goods by a physical person without the registration of a private individual – entrepreneur, who are engaged in peasant farming,ʺ the deputy noted.
