Vladimir Bidyovka: Republic’s legal system is de facto formed
DPR parliamentarians have laid the foundation of the legal system of the Republic, having legally regulated the activities of all branches of government, Chairman of the People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka stated in an interview for the Donetsk News Agency.
“As a whole, the legal system of the Republic has de facto been formed: we have a Constitution, laws regulating the activity of the judiciary, a law on the Government has been adopted, the legislation related to the activities of the prosecutor’s office and other state bodies also exists,” the Speaker of Parliament said.
Vladimir Bidyovka emphasized that now it is required to focus on codification. After the adoption of legal acts, the emphasis of the deputies’ activity will shift towards updating the legislation.
“We have a system that lays a fundamental basis, the groundwork. Now we are doing an add-on, that is, we are adopting laws that are aimed at developing the economy, the very investments, the social sphere, and the regulation of criminal law. But all of this is an add-on,” the Chairman of the People’s Council added.
We shall remind that earlier Vladimir Bidyovka reported that republican laws corresponded to the Russian notionally. The main differences are associated with the features of the regulatory legal mechanism for their implementation and socioeconomic conditions in the Republic.
