Vladimir Bidyovka: Zelensky is not able to change Ukraine’s policy towards Donbass
A statement made by the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Sergey Krivonos on Kiev’s readiness to take Donbass back by force demonstrates that the peaceful settlement of the conflict is a low priority concern for Ukraine. This was stated by the Chairman of the DPR’s People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka in his commentary to RIA Novosti.
ʺSuch statements on the part of Ukraine only prove the fact that the peaceful settlement of the conflict is a low priority concern for them. Unfortunately, we see that ‘a president of peace’ Zelensky, as he positioned himself during the election campaign, is unable to change Ukraine’s policy towards Donbass. In fact, it turns out that, apart from a nice picture in the spirit of show business, he, in fact, cannot bring anything else into realisation.
Ukraine continues searching for ways to resolve the conflict by force, although it would be better to find a way to implement the Minsk agreements, under which we signed,ʺ the speaker of the DPR’s Parliament stated.
Vladimir Bidyovka added that it would be worth for the countries that guarantee the implementation of the Minsk agreements to pay attention to the statement made by the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.
